Vladimir Moroz graduated from the Minsk Academy of Music in 1999 (the class of A. Generalov). In 1997 he became a soloist with the Belorussian National Opera in Minsk, and in 1999 he became a soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre Academy of Young Opera Singers. He joined the Mariinsky Theatre opera troupe in 2005. He is a winner of many international competitions.

On tour with the Mariinsky Theatre this artist has appeared in many opera theatres around the world interpreting such roles as Andrei Bolkonsky in “War and Peace” at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden (2000), La Scala (2000), the Teatro Real (2001) and the NHK Hall in Tokyo (2003); Rodrigo in “Don Carlos” at Covent Garden (2001); the title role in “Eugene Onegin” in the Théâtre du Châtelet (2003), the Metropolitan Opera (2003), the Deutsche Oper Berlin (2003), and Kennedy Center in Washington (2004); Yeletsky in “The Queen of Spades” at the Lucerne Festival (2000) and the Salzburg Festival (2000 with Plácido Domingo as Herman); and Don Alvaro in “Il viaggio a Reims” at the Baden-Baden Festival (2010).

Vladimir Moroz makes many guest appearances as a soloist. He has sung the classic baritone parts at the Aix-en-Provence Festival (2002), the Washington Opera (2002, 2005), at Carnegie Hall (2007), the Welsh National Opera (2005), Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, the Vienna State Opera (2004, 2005, 2007), the Rjieka Opera (2007), at the 30th Shalyapin Opera Festival in Kazan (2012), and at the 100th International Opera Festival in Savonlinna (2012).
